Job Summary

At Vidant Health, we are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support services and maintaining patient care documentation in medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical support services, including assisting with medical procedures and maintaining patient records.
  • Assist with secretarial and clerical duties, such as answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • One to two years of formal medical assistant/nurse aide training or six months current full-time experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA preferred

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with benefits, working 36 hours per week. The shift hours are 7:30am-5:00pm, four days a week. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
