About the Job:
This is a 13-week travel position with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek. Our client hospital is offering a competitive pay package, including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined, based on 10-hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI machines, adjusting settings as prescribed by physicians to obtain high-quality images.
- Position patients correctly, ensuring safety protocols are followed and comfort levels are maintained.
- Administer contrast agents as needed, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures, adhering to radiation safety standards and magnetic field guidelines.
- Document patient information and scan results accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Maintain equipment performance, performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as an MRI Technologist
