Position: Histology Medical Technologist
DAK Resources is seeking skilled Histology Technologists to join our team. This role is vital in providing high-quality laboratory services and ensuring accurate diagnostic results.
Work ScheduleThe laboratory operates continuously, and the typical work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 0600 to 1430.
CompensationThe hourly wage for this position is $35.95.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and advanced histological techniques, including the preparation of tissue samples and the creation of slides for microscopic examination.
- Ensure proper logging and tracking of specimens received from various departments.
- Assist in autopsy procedures, including the preparation and dissection of specimens.
- Maintain a well-organized laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
Licensure: Candidates must possess a valid Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. Proof of licensure is required prior to employment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to perform technical tasks with precision.
Training Requirements: All personnel must complete mandatory training related to patient safety, privacy policies, and infection control upon hiring and annually thereafter.
Health Compliance: Candidates must provide documentation of required health screenings and vaccinations prior to starting work.
