Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse with Advocate Aurora Health, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive patient environment. Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making, you will deliver patient-centered care across the continuum, ensuring the successful transition of patients to other healthcare delivery systems or their home communities.

The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution and hold a current Illinois RN license. A BSN is preferred, but ADN is acceptable with a commitment to enroll in a BSN completion program within four years. Current AHA CPR certification is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current Illinois RN license
  • BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with commitment to BSN completion program
  • Current AHA CPR certification
