About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital's Outpatient Surgery Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
  • Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
  • Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and other surgical team members.
  • Participate in the counting and verification of surgical sponges and instruments.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology program required.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
