This is a Production Welder I position available at Ditch Witch, a leading manufacturer of underground construction equipment. We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality machines.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for welding components used to build Ditch Witch equipment. Your primary tasks will include reading blueprints and technical manuals, setting up fixtures, performing mechanical assembly, and operating MIG welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret information from blueprints, technical manuals, and other documents
  • Set up and operate machinery, including hoists and welding equipment
  • Perform mechanical assembly and welding tasks
  • Check quality and accuracy of weldments
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have relevant experience as a welder or completion of a formal welding training program. You should also possess strong mechanical skills, including experience with hand and air-powered tools. Additionally, you must be able to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
