Job Description
The Full Time Thrift Store Assistant Manager will report directly to the Thrift Store Manager and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily thrift store operations, including sales, customer service, cash handling, and inventory management. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct volunteer workers, ensuring efficient store operations and high-quality customer service
- Manage cash handling, bank deposits, and credit card processing
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and events to drive sales growth and revenue
- Collaborate with the Thrift Store Manager to maintain store appearance, organize sales floor, and plan merchandise displays
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of retail management experience, or equivalent related experience and/or training
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary Estimate
Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this position is $36,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience.
