Join Our Team as a Lead Veterinarian

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Veterinarian to join our team at Parkway Animal Hospital. As the medical leader of our practice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care while supporting the overall success of our operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience or a desire to develop their leadership skills. We offer a comprehensive training program to support your growth and development as a veterinary leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to drive patient care and practice success
  • Assist the Practice Manager with staffing and scheduling to ensure goals are met
  • Grow relationships within the practice and the community to enhance patient care and referrals
  • Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal training program
  • Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments
  • Oversee the medical care of all patients
  • Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses
  • Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality

Requirements:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
  • Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
