Benihana Hibachi Master

As a Teppan Chef at Benihana, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. This involves cooking and preparing hot meals on hibachi tables while entertaining and interacting with guests. You will ensure that food portions are accurate and maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen area.

• Prepare and cook hot meals on hibachi tables in front of guests
• Entertain and interact with guests to create a unique dining experience
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen area
• Prepare and set up food for cooking and side orders

• Minimum of 1-year experience in cooking
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times
• Ability to entertain and perform in front of guests
• Ability to work as part of a team and recognize the importance of each team member's role in the guest dining experience
• Knowledge of industry standards on food storage and handling techniques
• Exercise sound judgment and possess good problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends
