Position Overview:
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) is excited to offer a full-time Neuropsychology clinical track faculty role within the Department of Neurology. This role is part of our expanding Neurocognitive Wellness and Therapy Program, which is dedicated to enhancing the treatment options available for individuals with neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role is the outpatient neuropsychological assessment of adults experiencing cognitive difficulties. Our Memory Disorders Clinic particularly seeks neuropsychological expertise, while this position allows for the assessment of patients with a variety of neurological issues, such as Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy, ALS, and Multiple Sclerosis. Participation in collaborative research and training activities is encouraged, and integration with existing treatment teams within the department is highly valued. Additional clinical opportunities may be available, including evidence-based cognitive rehabilitation and psychotherapy for patients or their caregivers, based on individual interests.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical program, including an accredited clinical internship.
- Completion of a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology and eligibility for board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology.
- Preferred experience in interprofessional collaborative research.
Candidates must possess a valid license in Ohio by the time of appointment. Faculty rank will be determined based on the qualifications of the candidate.
