Lunchroom Assistant

Job Summary:

The Vallivue School District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Lunchroom Help. As a key member of our nutrition services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students by providing high-quality food service in a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve nutritious meals to students in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen and cafeteria
Supervise and instruct kitchen personnel in the safe and proper use of kitchen equipment
Process delivery receipts, bank deposits, and daily sales records as directed
Order necessary supplies and maintain accurate inventories
Report any problems or accidents to the building principal immediately

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum experience in cafeteria food service as determined by the Board
Knowledge of food management, nutrition, sanitation, and applicable federal and state laws
Ability to stand and walk for most of the day, carry hot pans, and perform other physical demands of the job

Evaluation:
