Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Marquette, MI. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and aerosol medications.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respiratory status, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a behavioral psychology setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
