Job Title: CT Technologist

HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting and assisting in the performance of CT examinations, providing patient care, and ensuring the proper utilization of Radiology Information System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and assist in the performance of CT examinations
  • Provide patient care and ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Utilize Radiology Information System to manage patient information and examination data
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control tasks to ensure optimal imaging results
Requirements:
  • Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Up to one year of experience in CT is desirable
  • Certification in CT is preferred
Working Conditions:

The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with exposure to diseases and foul odors. The individual must be able to work in stressful situations and be able to lift and carry replacement Radio Frequency Coils between patients.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to utilize hands to write and use computer keyboard
  • Must be able to latch and unlatch the head holder and table extender and start IVs
  • Must be able to lift and carry replacement Radio Frequency Coils between patients
  • Must be able to manipulate 300-pound patients in and out of a wheelchair or cart
Language Ability:
  • Must be able to read and relay medical information
  • Must be able to take medical history and pertinent information to assist radiologists
  • Must be able to verbally communicate clearly and effectively with fellow workers, patients, and physicians
Reasoning:
  • Must be able to interpret and follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Shifts:

The CT Technologist will work Sunday to Wednesday, 8:30 PM to 7 AM.

State License Details:

Not required.

Minimum Years of Experience:

Less than 1 year.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours:

40 hours per week.
