The salary range for this position is $75,000-80,000, depending on experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Gilmartin is seeking highly motivated individuals for the role of Investor Relations Analyst. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with senior executives to manage client engagements, develop and implement investor relations strategies, monitor sector trends, oversee initial public offerings (IPOs), and create internal best practice documentation.

Analysts will engage in a training program designed to enhance their understanding of capital markets, financial analysis, investor relations principles, and the healthcare sector. During this training, Analysts will also prepare for their FINRA Licensing Exams: SIE, Series 82, and Series 63.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generate reports for clients outlining analyst models and institutional shareholder composition
  • Monitor and report on client and competitor developments and financial performance
  • Gather and analyze sell-side estimates while maintaining a consensus model
  • Assist senior executives in preparing for client quarterly earnings calls, including logistics, drafting earnings releases, and management Q&A preparation
  • Manage client investor relations calendars, including investor conferences and non-deal roadshows
  • Participate in client meetings and calls
  • Support the creation of presentation materials
  • Review and suggest updates for the investor relations website
  • Maintain and update databases
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
  • BA/BS degree; preferred fields include Finance, Economics, Biology, or pre-med
  • Internship experience in finance or investor relations is preferred
  • Strong analytical and writing capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Genuine interest in equity markets and/or healthcare
  • Professional and confident communication via phone and email
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
