We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Systems Technician to join our team at Stampede Culinary Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our large ammonia refrigeration system, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment, including control valves, solenoid valves, and compressors.
- Conduct regular inspections of the system and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation.
- Record and analyze system data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operation of the facility's systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a large ammonia refrigeration system.
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution, motor controls, and programmable logic controllers.
- RETA Class A operator's license.
- 24-hour emergency responder training and 8-hour yearly refresher training for emergency responders (HAZMAT).
- Medical certificate and training to wear S.C.B.A. and/or full-face gas mask.
- Working knowledge of operating a computer and computer software.
- Working knowledge of PSM program (Process Safety Management) and preventative maintenance program.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to extreme cold temperatures, high noise levels, and hazardous materials. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
