We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Macy's. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's assets and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveillance and investigations to identify and apprehend individuals who engage in shoplifting and dishonest behavior
  • Use de-escalation techniques to provide a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
  • Recover stolen merchandise and prepare reports on theft incidents, investigations, and audits
  • Build and maintain partnerships with store colleagues and external groups, such as law enforcement
  • Testify in court for criminal and civil cases
  • Train colleagues on protocols to protect company assets
  • Respond to alarm conditions and work on special assignments
  • Facilitate first aid for customers and colleagues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Resourceful self-starter who can adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses, trainings, and certifications
