The estimated annual salary for this role is around $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Competitive benefits include:

About the Role:

This SOC Analyst position involves monitoring the SIEM platform, performing analysis, and incident response using Splunk Enterprise Security. The role requires correlating notable events, creating and tuning alerts, performing risk-based analysis, and triaging incidents to optimize detection and response capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing data for industry best practices
  • Performing incident response actions
  • Performing threat hunting to track and eliminate adversary or insider threats
  • Fusing threat intelligence data with open-source and all-source intelligence for intermediate analysis
  • Supporting configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Splunk Core Certified Power User (or similar) required at time of employment
  • Splunk Certified Cybersecurity Defense Analyst (preferred)
  • IAT Level II/CNDSP Level II certification required at time of employment
  • CSSP Analyst certification required at time of employment
