We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director of Endocrinology to join our team at the University of Miami Health System. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate physician to lead our endocrinology department and provide high-quality patient care.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with endocrine diseases, conducting examinations, assessing symptoms, determining conditions, and prescribing treatment or services.
- They will also engage in training of fellows, residents, and medical students, and oversee mid-level medical staff as assigned, as well as nursing clinical staff.
Requirements
- M.D. degree and ACGME US Internal Medicine internship and residency completion.
- Completed 3-year ACGME US Endocrinology fellowship.
- Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible).
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing).
- Valid DEA licensure.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
