Role Overview:
The Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as directed, adhering to both dealership and manufacturer standards. This position also includes mentoring any apprentice technicians assigned to assist.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute tasks as specified in the repair order.
  • Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify any additional safety or service needs.
  • Communicate with the service advisor promptly regarding any additional work required.
  • Inform the service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe.
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles as necessary.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions.
  • Stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and report any incidents to management without delay.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or apprentice in a dealership setting.
  • ASE certification or equivalent training.
  • High Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) is essential.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
