Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure quality production.
  • Equipment Uptime: Monitor and maintain equipment uptime, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement continuous improvements in department processes and procedures.
  • PM's and Inspections: Complete preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and inspections as per maintenance department specifications.
  • Communication: Inform maintenance leads and shift managers of equipment issues, and communicate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete work orders and maintain records of maintenance activities.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with maintenance technicians, production staff, and other departments to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree or certificate from a two-year college or technical school in maintenance or a related field.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Electrical training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong background in equipment maintenance and repair.
