Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a far west suburban school program. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students, including screening, assessing, treating, and reporting as appropriate.
  • Plan and present at IEP and student conferences in consultation with staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assess and address communication needs of students with varying abilities and backgrounds.
Qualifications:
  • Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech Pathology.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
