Job Title: Back Waiter

Toca Madera West Hollywood is seeking a skilled Back Waiter to join our team. As a Back Waiter, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences by providing top-notch service and support to our servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by clearing dirty flatware and glasses, assisting with guest communication, and anticipating their needs.
  • Ensure tables are always prepared for upcoming courses, with silverware, plates, linen, and other essentials in place.
  • Deliver beverages from the service bar to guests in their sections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Assist servers with greeting tables, maintaining tables, and resetting tables after guests depart.
  • Perform spot checks to ensure the section is clean and free of debris, and address any issues promptly.
  • Stock and maintain side stations, ensuring they are fully stocked and organized.
  • Provide proactive suggestions for additional cocktails and relay orders to servers.
  • Relay additional food orders from guests to servers, ensuring accurate and timely service.
Requirements:
  • Experience in fine dining or a similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a diligent work ethic are essential.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Display the ability to forecast and anticipate the needs of guests and the restaurant.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift up to 35lbs is necessary.
