Position Overview: The Material Handler II role is integral to the operations within the Infectious Disease Developed Markets division. This position is essential for the effective management of shipping and receiving tasks across various departments, showcasing expertise in handling freight documentation for both domestic and international logistics. The Material Handler II is tasked with ensuring inventory precision through regular spot checks and cycle counts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas while upholding stringent inventory management practices.
  • Exhibit knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Efficiently pack and ship customer orders with accuracy.
  • Receive and distribute incoming shipments within the facility.
  • Maintain inventory oversight across all storage locations.
  • Process material requisitions and deliver them to designated departments.
  • Administer and execute the cycle count program to guarantee inventory integrity.
  • Keep detailed records for material disposal in accordance with company regulations.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization within warehouse and shipping environments.
  • Be prepared for callback or extended hours as required.

Basic Qualifications | Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse or material handling.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 2 years of experience in material handling, freight logistics, and receiving in a regulated environment such as FDA, ISO, or GMP.

Required Competencies:
  • Skilled in operating fork trucks and other warehouse machinery.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software, order processing systems, and standard office applications.
  • Understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control protocols.
