Job Description

This senior role requires advanced nuclear engineering expertise to perform critical tasks in support of plant operations. You will possess superior knowledge of functional disciplines, regulations, and industry codes, functioning at a recognized level of expertise in your technical area.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced nuclear engineering and technical tasks to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects.
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop and implement nuclear engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Resolve equipment and system problems through direct involvement and consultation.
  • Manage nuclear engineering issues, recommending new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify operations, reduce costs, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
  • Support plant design modifications, testing, and problem-solving as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate functional supervisory activities, including personnel, budgetary accountabilities, and planning goals for Nuclear Fuels personnel.
