Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems that interface with fuel cell technology, including power distribution, control systems, and energy management.
- Integrate fuel cell systems with vehicle, stationary power generators, and construction machinery electrical architectures, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Develop wiring harnesses, schematics, and layouts for the electrical integration of fuel cells.
- Design and integrate power electronics systems such as inverters, converters, and sensors that work with fuel cell technology.
- Optimize power flow and energy conversion efficiency between the fuel cell, battery, and vehicle systems.
- Develop and execute electrical test plans to validate fuel cell systems under various operating conditions.
- Analyze test data and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the integration process.
- Work closely with testing teams to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, including suppliers and partners, to ensure timely and successful integration of fuel cell systems.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and integration procedures.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure that fuel cell systems meet all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in fuel cell technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical systems design and integration, preferably in fuel cell technology or electric vehicles (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with power electronics, controls, and energy management systems.
- Experience with fuel cell systems and their electrical integration requirements.
- Proficiency in system integration and engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power electronics, circuit design, and control systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of electric powertrains and hybrid systems.
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and SAE J1772 (Charging Systems).
- Familiarity with CAD tools for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer).
