Ultrasound Tech Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team at Kahu Malama Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic sonography examinations using advanced equipment and techniques.
  • Utilize cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures to anatomical and pathological information.
  • Analyze sonograms, synthesize information, and communicate findings to physicians.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being during exams.
  • Assist with daily operations and maintenance of the sonographic laboratory and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare teams and hospitals.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
  • Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is necessary.
