Job Summary

Akahi Associates, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients' oral cavities, record conditions, and refer patients to dentists as needed.
  • Apply desensitizing agents, instruct patients in oral hygiene care, and demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques.
  • Take impressions, construct mouth guards, and polish restorations.
  • Record patient treatments, check and maintain instruments, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Utilize the Corporate Dental Application to enter patient workload and readiness status and schedule appointments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a dental hygiene program that qualifies for state licensure.
  • Board certification and active, current, valid, and unrestricted license in at least one state.
  • Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) approved by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • One year of experience as a dental hygienist in the last two years prior to contract execution.
