Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care by taking vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the provider during exams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including electronic health records (EHR).
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients.
- Communicate with patients and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure that all necessary information is collected.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing patient schedules.
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and policies, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with daily patient X-rays and imaging reports.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from an accredited program (preferred).
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in orthopedics or neurology.
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulations that impact clinic operations.
- Non-Certified Radiologic Technologist (Preferred).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
