Corporate Counsel for Artificial Intelligence Initiatives

We are seeking a talented attorney to support our cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives. As a business line lawyer, you will advise one or more business teams in Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) org on a broad range of issues of first impression in AI.
Key Responsibilities
Provide input on business and strategy throughout product development and planning cycles
Partner with product managers, scientists, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to find effective and innovative solutions
Serve as the primary point-of-contact advising business teams on AI-related issues
Requirements
2+ years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Experience in private practice or in-house experience at a technology company or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
