Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer I to join our team at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality sonographic examinations on patients of all ages, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and associated software.
- Analyze images and data to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or become registered within one year of employment.
- Strong understanding of ultrasound principles and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
