Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the peri-operative setting
  • Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists
  • Direct and guide OR Technicians and other personnel
  • Work with other departments to provide a continuum of care
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate
  • Current PALS (AHA) certificate
  • Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training
  • Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
