Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant

Lexington Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant to join its team. As an integral member of the rehabilitation department, this individual will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer direct physical therapy patient care as outlined in the treatment plan using specific competencies
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance
- Monitor ongoing progress by administering physical therapy tests and measurements
- Document and record patient treatment data, including progress notes and discharge summaries
- Graduate of a physical therapist assistant program approved by the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Licensed physical therapist assistant in the State of South Carolina by the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- CPR Certification
