Position Overview:
As a Production Associate, you will play a vital role in our operations at Schreiber Foods. This full-time position offers a competitive wage of $16.75 per hour and requires a commitment to excellence in food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct all necessary process checks including CP, CCP, QP, and CQP.
  • Implement reaction plans for any deviations related to Food Safety and Quality.
  • Understand and meet customer specifications to ensure optimal production processes.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Follow safety protocols, utilize Personal Protective Equipment, and comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Engage in manual labor tasks such as inspection, rework, and sorting as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and comply with plant policies.
  • Utilize Process Excellence tools to enhance plant performance and complete assigned projects.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and support PE initiatives.

Attendance and Availability:
  • Maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
  • Be prepared to work weekends, off shifts, and overtime as necessary.
  • Arrive on time and be flexible to work in various general labor roles as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to accurately identify products and document production data.
  • Perform duties as directed by plant leadership to ensure efficient operations.
  • Experience with equipment such as manual or electric pallet jacks, and palletizing.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Be adaptable and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and logical reasoning.
  • Demonstrate dependability with good attendance.
  • Maintain a goal-oriented and proactive work ethic.

Interpersonal Relationships:
  • Collaborate with team advisors, operators, and fellow production staff.
  • Possess strong communication skills and work well in a team environment.

Training and Expectations:
  • Complete tasks as assigned according to established standards.
  • Basic math and computer skills are required.
  • Forklift certification may be necessary.
  • Training typically completed within two weeks.

Schedule:
Shifts start at 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM, with a 12-hour rotating schedule (2-on, 2-off, 3-on, 2-off, 2-on, 3-off).
