Job Summary

Stanly Community College is seeking a qualified Plumbing Instructor to teach part-time in our Plumbing program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching program material via seated and online classes, facilitating regular and substantive interaction with students, and ensuring a safe and clean learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach all assigned courses, ensuring each class session contains essential curricular components and incorporates appropriate content and pedagogy.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain regular, professional communication with students and colleagues.
  • Ensure cleanliness of instructional areas and laboratories.
  • Coordinate the evaluation and acquisition of instructional materials and equipment.

Requirements
  • Plumbing Diploma or NC Plumbing Contractor License or NCCER Plumbing Certifications.
  • 3 years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience.

Working Conditions
  • Part-time, adjunct position.
