Job Summary

ASM Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all restrooms, offices, event spaces, and public areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, buff, and vacuum floor surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles in all areas, including public areas, restrooms, back of house spaces, and meeting rooms.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Shampoo carpets as assigned based on event requirements, and maintain outside walking areas, including entrance ways, loading docks, and sidewalks.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and polish all building fixtures, including lights, glass, stairs, railings, etc.
  • Recycling: Remove and sort recycling materials.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate housekeeping equipment, including powered hand tools, riding machines, and chemical dispensers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma, and one to three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Follow oral and written instructions, communicate effectively, work independently, and maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, and others.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform tasks that require prolonged standing, stooping, lifting, and walking, and to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
