Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, and reliable individual to join our farming team as the Citrus Production Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Agricultural Operations, the role involves overseeing the Farm Labor Crews (FLCs) and ensuring optimal care for citrus trees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative techniques for maintaining citrus trees, focusing on optimal growth and yield.
- Supervise FLC crews and manage their billing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Provide guidance to farm workers on pruning programs and cost structures, promoting efficient use of resources.
- Utilize power hand tools effectively, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Maintain ranch budgets, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agriculture, with a strong background in citrus production.
Benefits Package
- Annual salary range: $65,000 - $75,000.
