We are looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team at Georgia Tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support in the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, as well as performing various tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining records.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to two years of job-related experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, microscopes, and centrifuges.
  • Perform routine laboratory tasks, such as preparing solutions and buffers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities.

Estimated salary: $48,000 per year, based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
