ROLE OVERVIEW
The Client Financial Advisor is responsible for executing cash handling tasks related to member transactions and inquiries. This role requires providing accurate and efficient service at the Teller line, including:
- Processing deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing
- Posting loan payments and selling negotiable items
- Receiving and disbursing cash
As a primary point of contact, you will assist members with inquiries, requests, and the processing of new transactions, including new membership accounts. A comprehensive understanding of all Credit Union products and services is essential, enabling you to effectively communicate their features and benefits to our members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver a range of member transactions with prompt, courteous, and friendly service.
- Maintain security and balance of assigned cash reserves and negotiable items at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies regarding cash levels and key controls.
- Provide general information and guidance to members regarding Credit Union products, services, and policies.
- Facilitate the opening of new accounts and manage requests related to deceased accounts and fraud situations.
Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor as needed. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act, is mandatory.

While performing the duties of this position, employees may be required to engage in frequent physical activities, including sitting, standing, reaching, walking, talking, bending, and constant use of hands. Occasionally, employees may need to lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and may work overtime as necessary.
