Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Position
  • Provide quality care to residents in post-acute care facilities
  • Create care plans by collaborating with medical staff and residents
  • Deliver treatments and administer medications to residents
  • Review care options and outcomes with physicians and other staff
  • Educate residents and family members about best care options
  • Set up and monitor medical equipment as needed
  • Ensure staff compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
  • Draw fluids for lab analysis
  • Train and supervise nurses and support staff
  • Document medical interventions and histories accurately
  • Assist with incident investigations

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved nursing program
  • Post-acute care or in-patient hospital experience (at least 4 months)
