Position Overview:
The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, documentation, organization, prioritization, delegation, supervision, and coordination of patient care across various age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, in accordance with the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities:
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Monitoring patients with respiratory conditions and complications.
- Providing care for general medical and surgical diagnoses as necessary.
- Delivering palliative, end-of-life, and hospice care.
- Conducting psychiatric observations.
- Managing diabetes care, including new diagnoses and complications.
- Overseeing surgical patients and their recovery processes.
