Job Summary:

As an Interventional Radiological Technician - Special Procedures, you will be responsible for performing cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures
  • Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and protocols
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies

Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program
  • Successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within the first six months
  • 1-year experience in cardiac Cath lab for RCIS certified individuals or 2 years of experience in Cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cardiovascular procedures
  • ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) Registration or RCIS required
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
