Position Overview
The Primary Care Medical Practitioner will deliver comprehensive medical services in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, documenting medical histories, and managing follow-up appointments. The ideal candidate will also engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in administrative duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and perform physical examinations.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in the electronic health record system.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinical discussions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license to practice in the United States.
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
