Materials Handler

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Handler to join our team at HDT Global. This role is responsible for preparing and loading outgoing shipments and unloading trucks of incoming goods, as well as handling material required for assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Load Shipments: Loading and unloading trucks, preparing outgoing shipments, and ensuring accurate material handling
• Material Transactions: Performing material data transactions on a computer terminal, investigating transaction history to resolve inventory discrepancies
• Shop Floor Production: Reporting shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting, adhering to quality and safety standards
• Operate Equipment: Operating tow motors, forklifts, and other equipment as needed, following visual and written work instructions

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-3 years of warehouse or comparable experience preferred
• Skillset: Ability to work from verbal and written instructions, operate small power tools, and perform general carpentry skills
• Physical Demands: Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., occasional lifting up to 75 lbs., ability to climb ladders, bend, and kneel
