Soldering Technician

XLPRO CONSULTING GROUP is seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality soldering of electronic components and connectors on solar panels and related assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality soldering of electronic components and connectors on solar panels and related assemblies.
• Inspect solder joints and connections to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Accurately record and report production data, including any defects or issues encountered during the soldering process.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address any quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:

• Must be able to solder and pass a soldering test.
• Proficiency in soldering techniques, including hand soldering and using soldering machines.
• Must have 1-2 years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• Experience in the solar manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards for soldering and assembly.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
