Job Summary:

As a Senior Incident Response Analyst Night Shift Lead at MindPoint Group, you will play a critical role in conducting in-depth analyses and responding to cyber threats. This position requires a strong background in cybersecurity and experience in leading incident response teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and investigate security alerts using advanced tools
Monitor client environments for adversarial activity
Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation of high-priority cybersecurity incidents
Collaborate with cyber threat hunting and intelligence teams
Participate in the development and tuning of SOC tools detection content
Document triage findings and intake reports of cybersecurity events
Learn new investigative techniques and research emerging threats and vulnerabilities
Provide guidance and mentorship to Tier 1 SOC Analysts
Manage shift schedules

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of general work experience and 3 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity or related field preferred
CEH or CISSP certification
Experience with SIEM (Sumo Logic/Splunk preferred), cloud service provider offerings, malware, zero trust principles, and enterprise architecture
Proficiency in technical writing and customer-facing communication

Desired Qualifications:

Previous SOC or incident response experience
Working knowledge of regex and scripting languages
Understanding of federal SOC impacts and relevant certifications
Initiative to improve SOC performance through fresh ideas
Shift: Wednesday Shift 3 (8 hours), Thursday Shift 3 (8 hours), Friday night shift (12 hours), Saturday night shift (12 hours). Minimum 2 nights on site at DOJ.
Clearance: Applicable US Government Clearance required
Location: This is a hybrid role with expectations of being on the client site a minimum 2 nights on site.
