Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Arcadia Home Care & Staffing. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide nursing care and services to patients in accordance with Agency policies and procedures. This includes administering medications, performing selected nursing procedures, and promoting cooperative effort among personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Perform selected nursing procedures, including IV administration and wound care
  • Observe, record, and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient condition
  • Assist with the rehabilitation of patients according to the medical care plan
  • Promote cooperative effort among personnel by understanding the functions of other persons involved in patient care
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six (6) months of recent work experience in home care
  • Current licensure in your state of employment
  • Satisfactory references
  • Satisfactory completion of Agency-LPN/LVN Qualifying Exam
  • Proof of satisfactory completion of an approved pharmacology course (i.e., NAPNES)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have Driver's license, current auto insurance, or access to reliable transportation
  • Current TB, Physical, and Clean background check
