Senior Business Intelligence Developer

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is a key role within the Technology team, responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. This position contributes to applications systems analysis and programming activities, focusing on actionable insight-rich MIS.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and business intelligence Operational Reports, minimizing downtime and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Manage and execute projects to implement new functionality and changes to reporting and BI tools, documenting business requirements, testing requirements, and training end users.
- Create sophisticated Tableau Dashboards leveraging SQL data structures as a data source.
- Develop and run queries for use in reporting and data analysis, linking disparate data sources across Teradata, Enterprise Analytic Platform (EAP), SQL Server, and Oracle platforms.
- Provide reporting and BI subject matter expertise, support, and training to the Core Operations teams, enhancing their skills and achieving increased self-sufficiency.
- Maintain and publish documentation of data and BI tools, including user guides, models, metadata, and continuous improvement through automation and streamlining report production.
- 7 years of experience in building Tableau-based operational dashboards/MIS, with additional experience in dashboard/reporting technologies (Power BI, SSRS, QlikView) a plus.
- Experience in Python and PySpark is a plus.
- Developing data models, including data feeds, staging tables, and summary tables, is required.
- Experience with report creation, including designing executive-level reports and dashboards, is required.
- Development tools like Visual Studio and JIRA are highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects is essential.
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required.
