**Job Overview**

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Industrial Engineer to support the Effectors portfolio of programs in Tucson, AZ.

As a key member of our industrial engineering team, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and improving efficiency across multiple value streams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute projects that address obsolescence, improve factory performance, and promote growth.

**Responsibilities:**

  • SUPPORT critical projects having a significant impact on the business, helping with initiatives to advance the industrial engineering organization, and coaching/mentoring industrial engineers to grow key competencies
  • Provide industrial engineering support directly to program customers from development through production useful for improving program performance across multiple value streams /factories internal and external to Raytheon
  • Model factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show production processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key performance indicators
  • Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints
  • Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or similar engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, or a minimum of 8 years with a master's degree in a similar discipline
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
