Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor or Dual Credit Lecturer in Economics to teach online, synchronous courses to dual credit students. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Economics or a related field, with 18 graduate hours in Economics, and classroom teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach online, synchronous courses at various days and times
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Economics or a related field with 18 graduate hours in Economics
  • Classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to teach online, synchronous courses
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Economics
  • Prior University teaching experience
  • Dual-credit teaching experience
  • Blackboard experience
