Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our team in a rewarding opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology and be licensed/certified as a School Psychologist. They should possess sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, develop effective interventions, and provide counseling services to students in an elementary setting. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $50-$57 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive compensation packages, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer match.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels
  • Interpret assessment results to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings
  • Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and IEP meetings

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems
